The Living Tarot Oracle concept and training began in 2009 in Southwest Colorado, and evolved for five years, with some of the cast returning for all years, and new people joining each year. In 2013, it won an award for the best Tarot Event Of The Year from Tarot Professionals.

When Julia asked if I would be interested in becoming a part of the first LTO I thought, sure, why not. A chance to costume, dress up, decorate sets and act…what a fun time this should be! Little did I know that I would acquire a new family, have my eyes opened wide to different ways of thinking and experience mind bending times of synchronicity and miracles. I have been honored to participate in all of the first five years of LTO and have emerged more aware, stronger and more mindful. Julia is a talented, knowledgeable, loving and laughing guide to the art and wisdom of Tarot. I am so very happy to call her, friend, tribe sister and teacher.

"Stepping into the sacred theatre of the Living Tarot Oracle is a deeply soulful experience unlike any other. The costumes and environment of each of the Major Arcana is a sensory delight, a fun house of wisdom. Hearing the oracular answers to your question from the Tarot archetypes taps into the subconscious and offers insight."
"What I gained from the Living Tarot Oracle deepened my understanding of depth psychology and my practice of it. Depth psychology is a practice of hospitality, of hosting, of befriending. The Living Tarot Oracle is a school of hospitality, then, teaching us how to expand, extend, address our imperceptions of soul. And so we can learn to welcome all the faces of soul, however they face us, wherever they face us, even in our own."
